The cold has returned, with possibly a little more snow predicted for Saturday night, so there is skiing again on the mountains this holiday weekend. Windham Mountain has 33 trails (27 groomed) with 4 parks serviced by 6 lifts over 15-28" of snow from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. They also have tubing, zip line, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and kids snowmobiles in the Adventure Park, open Fri. 5-8 p.m., Sat. 11 a.m.-8 p.m .and Sun. 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Hunter Mountain claims 6-48" of snow, with six of ten lifts open, and most trails open. Catamount Ski in Hillsdale has 25 of 33 runs open, with four of six lifts running, over 6-30" of snow.
