NYSCA Electronic Media & Film in Partnership with Wave Farm

The MAAF Organizational Development opportunity enables organizations to hire consultants for the evaluation and assessment of organizational programs, administration, and operations, as well as planning for sustainability and growth. Funds are available for consultant fees for strategic planning, board development, staff retreats, succession planning, and preservation planning.

  • Funding Available: $4,000 maximum
  • Application Deadlines: January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1
  • Notification: Typically within 30 days
  • Period of Support: Determined by applicant, within a 12-month period
  • Final Report Deadline: 60 days following support period end-date
  • Important Eligibility Notes:

    • Eligible organizations are current NYSCA Grantees
    • Project-based or operational support for consultants such as grant writing/preparation, hands-on fundraising, website management, or other activities such as side-by-side staff support, which may be considered staff positions are not eligible
