Hosted by Tom Roe.

Wave Farm artist-in-residence John Wiese, joins host Tom Roe, live in the WGXC Acra Studio to present his residency work “Time Column,” a non-linear sound work, consisting of vertical disruptions imposed on sounds sources culled from site-specific origins and processes at Wave Farm. Leveraging the unique characteristic of the radio medium, in order to create a cinema of the ear, “Time Column” will be transmitted through airwaves, simultaneously experiencing a transformation, part automation, part installation, part concrète diffusion.

This show is similar to the weekday "WGXC Afternoon Show," but focused on transmission art. Saturday afternoons on WGXC feature Wave Farm Artists-in-Residence, and special guests, who are interviewed on-air, present past and future projects, as well as perform live.
